NACS News 8/30/2004 Enrique Iglesia has received the 2005 George A. Olah Award in Hydrocarbon Chemistry from the American Chemical Society. It will be presented at the 2005 ACS Meeting in San Diego in March 2005. The award is given to recognize, encourage, and stimulate outstanding research achievements in hydrocarbon or petroleum chemistry. The recipient must have accomplished outstanding research in the chemistry of hydrocarbons or of petroleum and its products. Special consideration will be given to the independence of thought and the originality shown.
